NEW DELHI: Described as a “reluctant king” in his first stint as prime minister, the quietly spoken Manmohan Singh was arguably one of India’s most successful leaders. The first Sikh in office, Singh, 92, was being treated for age-related medical conditions and died after he was brought tohospital after a sudden loss of consciousness on Thursday. Adam Sherman with the Adams County Sheriff's Office told USA TODAY on Thursday that it's unclear how long the baby was there but said from what investigators could gather, "it was a relatively short time of just a few minutes." "But that’s a few minutes too long for any child to be left alone in that situation," Sherman said. After the baby was found, he was taken to a local children's hospital as a precaution, while detectives canvassed the area, looked into camera footage, and tried to figure out who left the baby there. Today, 64 percent of transactions here are conducted on mobile devices, and because of the high volume of transactions, the Philippines has become a major target for malicious actors,” Gonzales said.
