And up until now, I never really understood why I should spend more than £2 on a toothbrush, as I was a firm believer other factors, such as the toothpaste you use, how long you brush your teeth for and making sure to cover everything, were much more important. I, therefore, have never considered splurging on an electric toothbrush. However, this Black Friday season I finally gave in after I saw that Boots have slashed the price of the Oral-B Pro Series 3 toothbrush from £100 to just £35 in an online-only offer. The product comes in four colours - white, black, blue and pink - and also includes a travel case that can hold one handle and two toothbrush heads. Besides the great price, I also picked this toothbrush as it has a professional timer that notifies you every 30 seconds to change the area you are brushing, totalling the dentist-recommended two minutes. As someone who applies a lot of pressure when brushing her teeth, I have also found the gum pressure control feature incredibly useful. The sensor lights up part of the handle in red and reduces brushing speed when brushing too hard. The toothbrush includes three brushing modes - daily clean, whitening and sensitive - making it the perfect option regardless of what you aim to achieve when brushing your teeth. I have tried all three modes and they have all left my teeth super clean and even made me look forward to my yearly dentist check-up in December. The description of the product claims to "remove up to 100% more plaque than a standard manual toothbrush for healthier gums and it starts making your smile whiter as of the first day of brushing by removing surface stains". A set of eight Oral-B 3D White toothbrush heads with CleanMaximiser Technology is available for £18, down from £36, at Boots . These are the same as the head that comes with the Pro Series 3 toothbrush. The toothbrush only has one downside, but still, this is not to do with its performance. Unfortunately, it came with an EU plug instead of a UK one. This wouldn't have made me decide against buying it had I known this detail before my purchase, however, simply because I love it so much. A travel adapter, which will only set you back around £5, will easily solve the problem. The product has an overall score of 4.3 stars on Boots based on 1991 reviews, 1276 of which are five-star ones. Most negative reviews surround the plug issue and the noise the toothbrush makes, however, I have not found this to be a problem. One one-star review reads: "I bought two of these as the offer was so good. I was sent two toothbrushes with EU plugs, not UK plugs. Pretty worthless and irritated as I now need to return them. (AP) — At least 6,000 inmates escaped from a high-security prison in Mozambique’s capital on Christmas Day after a rebellion, the country's police chief said, as widespread post-election riots and violence are roiling the country. Police chief Bernardino Rafael said 33 prisoners died and 15 others were injured during a confrontation with the security forces. The prisoners fled during violent protests that have seen police cars, stations and infrastructure destroyed after the country’s Constitutional Council confirmed the ruling Frelimo party as the winner of the Oct. 9 elections. The escape from the Maputo Central Prison, located 14 kilometers (9 miles) southwest of the capital, started around midday on Wednesday after “agitation” by a “group of subversive protesters” nearby, Rafael said. Some of the prisoners at the facility snatched weapons from the guards and started freeing other detainees. “A curious fact is that in that prison we had 29 convicted terrorists, who they released. We are worried, as a country, as Mozambicans, as members of the defense and security forces,” said Rafael. “They (protesters) were making noise, demanding that they be able to remove the prisoners who are there serving their sentences”, said Rafael, adding that the protests led to the collapse of a wall, allowing the prisoners to flee. He called on the escaped prisoners to surrender to authorities and for the population to be informed about the fugitives. Videos circulating on social media show the moment inmates left the prison, while other recordings reveal captures made by military personnel and prison guards. Many prisoners tried to hide in homes, but some were unsuccessful and ended up being detained again. In one video, a prisoner still with handcuffs on his right wrist says he was held n the disciplinary section of the prison and was released by other inmates.

There is a serious need to eliminate air pollution not only in United States major cities but cities across the nation and globally. The Trump administration has ambitious plans to “drain the swamp” which could prove to be a beneficial streamlining of the federal government depending on a smooth transition without political bloodletting resulting in the “swamp” remaining a swamp but a Republican swamp. It remains necessary for the auto industry to continue steadfastly to improve electric vehicles making them competitive with gasoline and diesel fueled vehicles. Not a ten year process but a long term transition to environmentally compatible and practical and long-distance travel automobiles. Though the Republican Party will have the majority in both the U.S. Senate and U.S. House, the Trump administration, yet to assume the White House official responsibilities, should not be given carte blanche to govern the United States and its various government departments.
