Coleen Rooney has sent a loving message home to her sons before she took on the next Bushtucker trial in the I'm A Celebrity jungle. She was selected by viewers to face the trial alongside Radio 1 presenter Dean McCullough, who's had a mixed bag of outcomes in these challenges. This turn of events followed after her husband, Wayne Rooney, appealed to his social media followers on X to vote for Coleen in the upcoming trial selection, expressing his eagerness to watch her take on a challenge he believes she wants to conquer to make her family back home proud. Approaching the trial zone to tackle 'Absolute Carnage,' Coleen expressed her enthusiasm, telling the cameras, "I'm excited for my boys back home to see me do something. Hopefully, I'm going to do well. I'm going to try my best." Within the challenge known as 'Absolute Carnage', one participant would be trapped inside the rear of a ute, surrounded by stars secured with various fastenings that required specific tools to release. The responsibility of the other celebrity was to rummage through the garage for these tools and hand them over to their companion in the back of the ute. Dean took on the task of hunting for the tools, which left Coleen in the back of the ute, having to tolerate cockroaches, crickets, giant mealworms and rats crawling all over her. Meanwhile, Dean was confronted with an element that had previously defeated him... fish guts, reports OK! . Ant and Dec commended Coleen's performance, saying, "You were very calm, very quiet. You just got on with it." To which Coleen responded: "Yeah, that is my way of coping, silence, the silent treatment. "Earlier in the programme, Coleen shared more tales from home as she told her campmates about when she met President-elect Donald Trump. This was during the period her husband Wayne was managing D.C. United in Washington. She recounted: "When we lived in America, we were invited to the White House for Christma s , and we went in to meet Donald Trump. And we walked in and we got to get the official photograph taken in front of the Christmas tree. So Donald Trump said to his son, 'see? Told ya, all the soccer players get the good looking girls'. And I told my mum, I was like 'dirty b******'." Wayne appeared on I'm A Celebrity Unpacked on Saturday (November 23) to show his support for his wife. The current Plymouth manager also hinted at having a new poem ready for her upon her return after Coleen revealed to viewers the former Manchester United striker's fondness for poetry. I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! continues tomorrow at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.City at least avoided a sixth consecutive defeat but the manner in which they blew a commanding advantage will do little to settle nerves in and around the club ahead of Sunday’s trip to Premier League leaders Liverpool. City appeared in total control after a brace from Erling Haaland and another from Ilkay Gundogan had them three up seven minutes into the second half, but after Anis Hadj Moussa got one back in the 75th minute, City imploded. “It is what it is, difficult to swallow right now,” Guardiola said. “The game was good, we played well, we scored three and could have scored more. We do everything and then we give away, especially the first one, and after we are not stable enough to do it. “It’s not about no run or no commitment, but football you have to be [switched on] in certain moments to do it.” Santiago Gimenez got Feyenoord’s second in the 82nd minute and David Hancko got a dramatic equaliser in the 89th, making City the first team in Champions League history to have led 3-0 in the 75th minute of a match and fail to win. Some City fans, who suffered through Saturday’s 4-0 humiliation at home to Tottenham, made their frustrations known at the final whistle. “The last game against Tottenham, 0-4, the supporters were there, applause,” he said. “They are disappointed of course and we understand it. “People come here not to remember success of the past, they come here to see the team win and perform well. I am not the one when the situation is bad or good [to say] what they have to do. “These supporters, when we go away, our fans are amazing, travelling. There is nothing to do and they are right to express what they feel.” Guardiola’s own frustrations were apparent given the number of scratches visible on his head after the match. The Catalan had arrived at the ground with a cut on his nose, which he said he had caused himself with a long fingernail. City now face a trip to Anfield to face the Liverpool side of former Feyenoord boss Arne Slot, whose named was chanted by the visiting fans during the match. “Everybody knows the situation, I don’t have to add absolutely anything,” Guardiola said. “We are going to train tomorrow, recovery and prepare the next game. Day off and we have two or three days to prepare that and go for it. We will learn for the future and what has been has been. “It will be a tough season for us and we have to accept it for many circumstances.” Feyenoord’s late fightback brought jubilant scenes in the away end. “I think if you’re from Feyenoord it was an unbelievable evening,” head coach Brian Priske said. “A strange game which ends 3-3 which is an unbelievable result for us and also remarkable in the essence of being 3-0 down in minute 75 away from home against still, for me, the best team in the world. “Normally we don’t celebrate draws but this one is a little bit special.”

The role for Paul Bielby is simple. The new executive director of 97.9 Valley FM – Vernon's community radio station – is to complete a station fundraising push, and finish the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) inspection process that will get the long-awaited station broadcasting on-air. Bielby takes the executive director's baton from Marv Machura, who made significant strides during his tenure as ED, including acquiring a new, 600-watt radio transmitter in September. "I am excited to step into this role at Valley FM and continue the great work done by Marv, the board of directors, and technician Matt Schafer," said Bielby. "I am also delighted to be working with some very talented broadcasting stars, and local business luminaries on our board, as well as some key supporters like MP Ken Hardie." Added Machura: “I am happy that Paul Bielby has accepted the role of ED and I look forward to continuing to support the radio station as a volunteer, and radio show host with my show Four Strong Winds." Bielby has been involved in commercial auctions and fundraising for 20 years. He founded Benefit Auctions, a Vernon social enterprise that helps non-profits raise funds. His fundraising experience will support Valley FM's transition from an internet-only station, streaming 24/7 at , to a full-fledged, terrestrial radio station. Valley FM has partnered with two charities, the Okanagan Humane Society (OHS), and Forever Home Sanctuary (FHS), for a Triple Charity Auction hosted online at . The funds raised for Valley FM from this online auction will contribute to the monitoring equipment required to pass the final inspection by the CRTC. The funds raised for the OHS will help them continue to fill the gap left by the closure of the Vernon SPCA. The third charity to benefit will be Forever Home Sanctuary, a local rescue and sanctuary dedicated to farm animals that was founded by Angie Ioakimidou and partner Ron Hopkins. FHS was recognized in October with the Non-Profit Excellence Award at Vernon's Annual Business Excellence Awards. Community members and businesses are encouraged to donate auction items. Used items in good condition are also welcome. The online bidding will start on Dec.1 and conclude on Dec.15. To donate an item you can email , or call 1-250-864-6257.
